The Short Story "Araby"

 Hello friends.

Here is my own point of view regarding to the very famous short story by a famous Irish writer, named James Joyce. Who was born in Dublin on 2 February 1882. In 1904 he left Ireland, renounced Catholicism and the Irish liberation movement.

Dubliners (1914) a collection of Joyce"s many short stories. Then latter he also wrote this story in a little fictional work as a Novella type. Cause of he try to convey his ideas related to love in that time of Modernism.

■Starting of the Story:

In the setting, we can see the face of street, than further Joyce make the face of Street with blind emotion to use the blindness of, life of the Narrator. This is the hint that what the Narrator, an unnamed boy is feeling like emotionless Life. He used the word for blind street, "imperturbable".

■ Uses Natural elements for description:

Further we can see that joyce uses the Natural elements using for,about the short days of winter.....

"The space of the sky above us was the colour of ever -changing violet and towards it the lamps of the street lifted their feeble lanterns."

"The cold air stung us and we played till our bodies glowed..."

Then, from the description about what the Narrator felt before he fell in love, Joyce try to shown that an unnamed boy felt everything which was surrounded by his, was in dullness and darkness. While actually he was not real fall in love

The Love:

When , further we introduced with Magan's sister, there are the chage in the life of Narrator. He Note about her figure and hair, He described it that,

"Her dress swung as she moved her body and the soft rope of her hair tossed from side to side."

A crush of the Narrator on her, when a love is put the person on the position of warm thinking about his or her love and amor adoration of a particular person get more emotionality on his/her life. So, it's clearly noticable by any reader that the protagonist of the story is gone physically attract to his love! Or to her body? Further he say,

"I didn't know whether I would ever speak to her or not or,if I spoke to her, how I could tell her of my confuse adoration."

So, here the narrator is only a teenager, that's whihe gone physically attract with Mangan's sister.

💟If Joyce Mack a Soulful Love story, after that what's the reactions regarding to the characters❓

 Yes. If Joyce make a Soulful Love story, because of he use here a physical attraction. The Narrator is start to going himself in the age of love, he not enter totally right way?

So, if he will put the narrator as a young and passionest boy for a Soulful Love, there would be totally opposite side of this story. Soulful Love is love about precision and attractions has Materialistic. In my understanding, here's the story revealed as Materialism. Cause of here the love means just attraction!Further boy feel love very deeply and his mind and heart also feel the flowing of loveable liquid inside them.

In the nearly end of the story, when a Mangan's sister talk with him and ask about Araby Street that " Was he going to Araby?" And she also tells that " It would be a splendid bazaar!" And she would love to go. Narrator tell her that if will go he definitely bring something for her.There is no planning and not actually known about the street but there is something to do for her it's just only in his mind that there is something to do only for her.

Then Joyce also use the term that Streem of Consciousness through the narrator. The story is actually start now. Late answering, his uncle's fussing are also noticable for how his desire become unsuccessfully described. When he gose for Street, it was not completely closed but some few shopes were open. But there were not actually perfect for her.

Darkness:

As we know about earlier of the story that narrator described the street as the darkness. And actually at the end there are also. This is the light is out on that Bazaar. He go to the bazaar for bring some for his love but there is no chance or cause of late timing he can't bring out something for his some one special. But here the changes are continually run away but The Darkness is still running at the end of the story. There is also a little different between the beginning darkness or the end of the darkness. The chang is about his loneliness.

My owe thinking about the different of this two points is that....

Yes Friends. If we compared between the Soulful Love VS Attraction then waht is the turn of the story..? Actually attraction is just owing to our changing of body hormones and soulfulness it means just sacrifices. Love is not depend on Materialism but actually it is bring out something new or special out of Materialism. Which something new or fresh thing for his or her love.

What about your thinking regarding to Soulful Love.....?💟

Thank you.

 Hello friends!

I Divya Sheta, the student of Shree Umiya Mahila Art's and Commerce College from Lathidad which is located under Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University (MKBU University). I'm studying in BA Sem 5 with main English.

Here is my poem about the picture of "fantasy Image" of one memory which is on the way of present. And here I also mentioned some difficulties of this particular memory. Because in my point of view, there is not easy to get it From past to present! When the past has been bad.

              સફર એક યાદ ની...

અંધકારના ઓથરમાંથી એક યાદ રજળતી હતી;

સરનામું મારું પૂછતાં વાર તો એને લાગી;

પૂછતાં પૂછતાં આવી બેઠી ભૂતકાળના ઓટલે;

મન ઠારવા કંઇક કેટલા ઉપાય કર્યા હશે એણે;

છુપાઈ રહેવા મન વારે વારે કહેતું એનું;

આખરે એનું કંઇક કહેવું છતું થઈ ગયું મારી સમક્ષ;

But at the end, there is not actually the end. We can see that memory is never be died! It's immortal like our hope. But the point is that there is some little objection side by the memory who suffer out from the past and who is also play the very little role of the life in the presence, on that time.

Thank you!

Astronomy: Our picture of the Universe

Welcome readers!

Here is my post about the chapter which is included in study, BA Sem 5, Main English.The paper Name is Compulsory English 05. So Let's see the first chapter Named "Our picture of the Universe".

  "Stephen Hawking" - a great name of theoretical physics. "A brief history of time" is very famous book which is written by Stephen Hawking. In these book, the first chapter of the book is "Our picture of the Universe". Hawking mentioned in the chapter that about the different theories,different theoretic points of the great names of scientific field and philosophic field also.

Hawking Frist described the Aristotelian theory. Aristotle portray in his book named "On the heavens" he put forward two Good arguments which is as follows :

1) He came to know that the eclipses of the moon were caused by the earth coming between the sun and the moon.

2) From his traveling experience the North star appeared lower in the sky when viewed in the south than it did it more northerly regions.

He also believed that the earth was Stationary and other planets, the sun,the moon and the stars also were moved in circular orbits around the earth. In the second century AD, there was a complete cosmological model which is happened by Ptolemy who also followed Aristotelian theory. His Aristotelian or Ptolemaic theory was build with the name of five planets which know at that time :

1) Mercury
2) Venus
3) Mars
4) Jupiter
5) Saturn

Ptolemyy specified these planets and also he put the think about that the earth stood at the central, surrounded by eight spheres that carried the moon the sun the stars and other five planets included.

In 1514, a polish priest named Nicholas Copernicus who gave the sense on the sun. His ideology believing in that the sun was Stationary at the centre and the earth the planets moved in circular orbits around the sun. Which more believable think so.

But when a century passed before this idea was taken seriously two Astronomer--The German Johanne Kepler and The Italian Galileo Galilei -- theses two great thinkers were publicly to support the copernican theory.

After Inspection of Galileo about the Universe observing with telescope he noticed that everything did not have to orbit Aristotle and Ptolemy had thought. Kepler had modified Copernican's theory and he also suggesting that the planets moved not in circles but in ellipses. And Now, the predictions finding matched the Observations.

Kepler's doctrine was that planets were made to orbit the sun by magnetic forces. His this ideology kept running an explanation was provided only much later, in 1687 when Sir Issac Newton --- The Star of Morden Physics who published his book named Philosophia Naturalis Principia Mathematica in which he mentioned postulated a law of universal gravitation according to which each body in the universe was attracted towards every other body by a force that was stronger the more massive the bodies and the closer they were to each other. He also recognized the Universe that the earth and the planets to follow elliptical paths around the sun.Here is three laws giving by Kepler :

In short we can say that he only make the Focus on gravitational force between the Universal elements.Newton also mentioned about two forces, one is repulsive force and second is attractive force. And then these two forces make each other totaly opposite and then the gravity is born.

When at that time most people believed in that the universe is Static or unending. They also believed that the universe had (Newton's theory) that it was at some finite time. Newtonian theory of gravity, which is tell us that the gravitational force between two bodies depands only on one number associated with each body.

In 1929, Edwin Hubble shown his doctrine that the universe is Expanding. His observations suggested that there was a time called Big Bang, when the Universe was infinitesimally small and unending dense.

In these point Hubble said that an unchanging universe a beginning in time is something that has to be imposed by some being outside the universe on the other hand he also said that one can imagine that God created the universe at literally any time in the past.Here is a gif of The Big Bang :

Karl popper has emphasised a good theory is characterized by the fact that it make a number of predictions that could in principle be disproved or falsified by observation. The eventual goal of science provide a single theory that describes the whole universe, most scientists actually follow is to separate the problem into two parts :

1) Universe changes with time.
2) The intial situation as a matter for metaphysics or religion.( God being Omnipotent)

Nowadays scientists described the Universe in terms of two basic partial theories :

1.The General theory of Relativity
2.The General theory of Quantum Mechanics.

The whole universe is such a beautiful or full of magical elements. It's also connected with Mythological thinking or theorical thinking. But on the presence we can say that the knowledge about the science or Physics is very expanding or greater than rumours.

On the other hand, we can see that in mythological thinking there are not to be stopped, because of there are low educated people, in specially Indian mythology.
So, the question about universe that who is creator?
It's never stopped. Then how we start the solution?
It's depends to us and our ideology about that how we know the ideology of the great thinkers and how we believe in that or not.
